Budget and Financial Management Analyst
Business Analyst III – The successful candidate shall have a degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field and a minimum of 7 years of experience in financial management. Experience with the US Army financial management system GFEBS a plus. Candidate shall be able to provide support, guidance, mentoring and training in the six core GSFEBS business processes (Funds Management, Cost Management, Spending Chain, Plant Property and Equipment, Funds Control, and Audit and Financial Management). Position involves budget structuring, customizing budget management, developing cost plans, managing and using resources for the optimization of performance, assist in reconciliation of data, audit preparation, managing control funds, and year end closeouts. In addition, the candidate shall be responsible for daily support of GFEBS business rules and functionality and integrate changes into the organization’s business process. Familiar with a variety of the field's concepts, practices, and procedures. Candidate will be responsible for day to day financial activities of the organization and the resolution of budget and financial issues. Familiar with a variety of the field's concepts, practices, and procedures. Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Performs a variety of complicated tasks. May lead and direct the work of others. A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected. May report to an executive or a manager.
