This contract award will directly support FEMA’s OCISO with Independent security assessments of IT systems, conducting security control assessments to support security authorizations, and; the system completion of the certification and accreditation process. Platinum Awarded Prime Contract for The Centers for Medicare and Medicaid (HHS), CMS Project Management Blanket Purchase Agreement (BPA)
February 12, 2020 (Laurel, MD) - Platinum Business Services, LLC (Platinum), a growing provider of digital health systems for the Federal Government, announced today the award of a multi-year contract to support The Centers for Medicare and Medicaid (CMS). The Project Management Blanket Purchase Agreement will directly support CMS, Office of Information Technology (OIT), Project Management, and the National Standards Group (PMNSG). Under this contract, Platinum will provide CMS with the comprehensive Program/Project Management (P/PM) support necessary to achieve CMS goals. Platinum’s CMS support is directly related to the Program Management Improvement Accountability Act (PMIAA), which requires government-wide standards and policies for program management; and establish an interagency council to improve P/PM practices among agencies. This BPA will assist three of CMS missions, which are; be an effective steward of public funds, strengthen and modernize the nation’s care system, and provide access to high-quality care and improved health at a lower cost.

Platinum Business Services Awarded Prime Contract for the: Centers for Medicare & Medicaid (CMS), Social Security Number Removal Initiative (SSNRI) Project
May 05, 2017, (Laurel, MD) - Platinum Business Services, LLC (Platinum) was awarded a prime contract to support the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid (CMS), Social Security Number Removal Initiative (SSNRI) Project. The Medicare Access and CHIP Reauthorization Act (MACRA) of 2015. Section 501 of this legislation prohibits inclusion of SSNs on Medicare cards. MACRA requires CMS to remove SSNs from all Medicare cards by April 2019. A new randomly generated Medicare Beneficiary Identifier (MBI) will replace the SSN-based HICN on the new Medicare cards for Medicare transactions like billing, eligibility status, and claim status.
Platinum will support CMS in the timely updates and the adoption of the new Medicare beneficiary identifier in various CMS manuals and forms. The updating of these manuals and forms will ensure the accuracy of the policy contained in the manuals and forms, which will have a major impact on the health care sector and components thereof (e.g., hospitals, physicians, pharmacies, beneficiaries, and insurance firms and Medicare contractors). Platinum has a strong history of providing strategic healthcare support for CMS and a number of national commercial healthcare organizations and federal healthcare agencies.
Platinum Business Services, LLC (Platinum) is beginning work on a USAMRICD On-Site Administrative and Professional Support Services contract. Platinum will provide qualified technical personnel in support of the United States Army Medical Research Institute of Chemical Defense (USAMRICD) and provide the required staffing resources as necessary to allow the USAMRICD to continue to be a recognized leader in the development of chemical warfare countermeasures.
Platinum will support USAMRICD’s mission is to discover and develop medical products and knowledge solutions against chemical and biochemical threats through research, education and training, and consultation. As a part of the mission, the USAMRICD offers a wide variety of events and courses to first responders and throughout the Department of Defense (DoD) community. The EHRP is the PeopleSoft web-based, workflow enabled human capital management system providing electronic initiation and processing of civilian personnel actions, and human capital management tools.
